According to Laxman Shrestha, Head of the Environment Department of the Nepali Congress, the program will encourage local citizens to maintain greenery and cleanliness in their communities. In its first phase, the campaign will involve tree planting drives, plastic pollution control measures, and community cleanliness activities in major cities. The party views this step as a significant effort toward long-term sustainable development.
